Hi, there! My name is Luna, and as you can see by my picture, I am a "senior" dog about 11 years "young". I am the ultimate companion dog and my idea of a wonderful day is simply being by your side! If you would like to take a walk, I would love to take a walk with you. I am in excellent health and can take a long walk or short walk. Doesn’t matter to me as long as I am walking with you. If you have errands to do, I love to go on car rides! And, I am great company in the car--no "back seat" driving comments from me. I just love looking out the window and taking it all in. If you prefer some "down time", I am happy to take a nice nap. I will snuggle up with you or nap at your feet. I am a pretty easy-going girl but I have never lived with young children, so I will do best in a home with adults or older children where there is a calmer atmosphere. I get along well with other dogs but must admit that I am a bit of an attention hog. So, I would be most content in a one-dog or two-dog family. So, if you are looking for the ideal companion dog--a loving and loyal four-legged friend who will keep you company on walks and car rides and who will snuggle with you or simply be content to be your side, I’m your girl! Luna is being fostered in Columbus, NC

Application Information

You must be an approved applicant to adopt this dog or any other dog from BSR. If you haven’t done so, please complete an adoption application. You will be happy you did!

Due to limited financial and volunteer resources, BSR does not routinely transport rescued Boykins to new owners. However, if we have volunteers living between the foster home and the new home, those volunteers may be able to assist with transportation in certain situations. In these cases, the new owners will be asked to cover agreed upon transportation expenses.
